     I have adopted two dogs from Rescue Me! I have to say it's the best experience I have ever had as far as owning a pet. I had a very loved pet pass away and I felt such a devastating loss that I wanted to help another animal. I had never adopted a rescue before. The two dogs that I rescued immediately became my family and filled up a large part of the void I was feeling. They are so sweet and well behaved. I will never adopt another puppy, I will always rescue. Rescues are so happy and want to please. Wonderful pets plus you find out a little about their personality up front so you know if they will fit into your household or not.

     I am so thankful for Rescue Me! It is so easy to use and it really is helping dogs find forever homes, especially when the local rescues are overwhelmed. I feel like the potential adopters I have communicated with have been really nice people, which eases my mind. Bella found a wonderful home through Rescue Me and I couldn't be happier. She knew she had just met her new family the first time we all met. They absolutely love her and I know she will get all the love and attention she deserves. Bella was dumped in a bad part of town and fended for herself in the woods and eating from the nearby apartment dumpsters for two weeks before I got her. Thank you for your part in Bella's happy ending!

     Lucy was surrendered because she was not too thrilled with the new baby, so said her bio. I saw the post and thought, yes, it is time to get a furry pal. I lost my 14 year old Jack Russell/Beagle last summer. Then Lucy's picture was no longer on the site; then it was back. Turns out she was adopted then returned because she was 'scared and timid'. After an hour at the adoption site with Lucy sitting with me allowing belly rubs and foot massages, I paid for her 'release'. After less than 24 hours, Lucy is content to be my friend. She snuggles, follows me around and knows that the crate is a safe place. I have lots to learn about this breed and look forward to the challenge. Thank you, Rescue Me.

     I have been looking at the Cairn Rescue website for a long time before finding Gia. Her beautiful 'people' could no longer keep her and were willing to drive the three hours to my home so we could meet. Now this little nine pounder has a 100 pound Black Lab best friend, a new person to sleep with and a household full of loving family. Thanks, Cairn Rescue Me for making this possible.

     I posted our little foster dog here, after having no luck with finding her a good home locally. I hoped that her cuteness would shine and people would be able to imagine her happy personality. To my delight, she was selected by a family living a couple of hours of us and they already had a Cairn for Izzie to play with. In our home, she was the littlest of 4 dogs and now she has a playmate her own size. I'm so grateful for Rescue Me!

     Lisa has been adopted by a lovely couple. They were looking for a companion for their Beagle. As Lisa can be dominant and territorial, I was a bit worried, but the two dogs immediately hit it off. The first two days were a bit difficult for Lisa. She is a rescue dog and I took her from an awful place. She was very attached to me and she tried to escape from her new home a few times. Fortunately, her new owners are amazing and very patient with her and she has settled in quite well. Thanks Rescue Me, you guys are doing a great job!

     We immediately received inquiries regarding our two little Cairn Terriers. Our little Cairns Crosby and Sadie have been adopted into a wonderful forever home thanks to Rescue Me! They are now living with a family with four young children who are already planning birthday parties for the two of them. After meeting with Crosby and Sadie, the family loved them and we could tell Crosby and Sadie were receptive to them as well. After a couple of get-togethers with the pups, we had no doubt this family was a good match and know Crosby and Sadie will be greatly loved and happy!

I was able to interview people and found a wonderful family who adopted him. He now has a Scottish Terrier and Morkie as friends and a family who will love him as much as I did.      I have rescued and fostered small dogs for years when this little Cairn terrier strayed into my life. I've been fostering him for about 2 months and worried about finding a good home with a family who was familiar with this breed. A few years ago I donated $50 to the 'breed specific' rescue group Col. Potters Cairn rescue after seeing a posting for help regarding a really abused cairn mix in very poor shape. So I enlisted their help and they suggested I post him on this website www.RescueMe.Org which I didn't even know existed. Well I'm so glad I did because it only took one day and I got two emails from people interested in him. And this afternoon, Toby is now sitting in the arms of his new family who have had cairn terriers in the family for over 40 years. It's been over 5 years since they had to put their last one down and have been wary of opening their hearts again. That was until Toby came along. They saw his face and know his breed and they wanted to be the family getting to celebrate Toby's next birthday when he turns four on Feb. 10th. Thank you so much Bob and Carolyn for opening your hearts and home to him.

     I only had three days to find my 13 year old cairn a home before he was going to be put down. This website was a life saver! Literally! This sweet old man Victor found a home with a sweet family with five kids and a little girl cairn. He is very happy and very loved! This website gave me the opportunity to find my little man a home. I had no choice but to find him a home and try as hard as I could! I am so thankful that Victor found a new loving home! Without this website and the loving family that adopted Victor he would no longer be here.
