    Cookie is a very loving, active playful little girl, weighing about 18#, she is 11-18 months old. Started on leash training, housetrained. She can be picky about meeting new dogs,till she gets to know them. Loves attention, wants to be with people. Cookie had been abandoned, and had been running for awhile before coming to the rescue. She will be spayed prior to her adoption. Cookie is at the Idaho location.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Cairn in Washington
    Cairn Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Cairn Terrier is a shaggy, spunky little dog with tons of energy and personality. The indefatigable Cairn is full of energy and is very lovable. Cairns love to dig, chase, and bark. Cairns are very active and need plenty of exercise but adapt well to apartment life. Cairns like to do tricks and are very trainable. Cairns are wonderful with children. A Cairn can be very territorial and should be watched for a tendency to take on much larger dogs if it feels threatened.
