Charlie is a sweet little boy looking for his forever home. He is shy when first meeting new people but warms up very quickly. He loves to sit in laps and be held and cuddle up with his human. He loves courteous children and other dogs with mellow temperaments. If you would like to set up a home visit to meet Charlie please contact us via email.

Lula Belle's Story... Lula Belle has arrived! She was relinquished to our CA rescue partner. We rescued this adorable girl and she has been a delight! She is the most loving, sweet, little dog! She is a lot of fun too! She loves her people and definitely enjoys the inside life! She would do well with an active, retired person, or with someone who works from home that has a lot of time to spend with her. She would also make a great family dog. She makes a wonderful companion. She does well with other dogs (preferably male), but she will need socialization and training. She is absolutely adorable and is very deserving of a good home! She is 11 lbs and around a year old. Adoption Fee: $350 Fee includes: Spay, flea treatment, vaccinations, heart worm test, health certificate, flight transportation from CA to WA, collar and leash. |Rescue Me ID: 14-09-29-00001Sarg (male)|
***Ask about fostering to adopt Sarg!*** Sarg is a 4-year-old happy-go-lucky cairn, Scottish terrier mix who is happy and very friendly. He gets along just fine with other dogs but we are unsure about cats. He rides well in the car and does well on the leash and enjoys going for walks. We are unsure about his past since we rescued him from a high kill pound in California, but he seems to be a happy dog who was once loved. Sarg will do well in just about any living situation but will benefit from additional training and socialization. Sarg is doing well with his potty training but will need a grace period to get used to his new home and your schedule. Sarg is a sturdy little guy weighing in at 15 lbs. who will love nothing more than a loving home, daily walks and a nice little bed to call his own. Sarg's adoption fee is $300. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, micro chipped, flea and tick treated, heart worm tested, and given a health exam. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information. (Less)

Blond Cairn. Was my in-laws pet. He recently passed away and she has moved into a senior facility. We have taken the dog but we are very busy and doing a lot of travel since retiring. We had a Jack Russell for 17 years that passed away 2 years ago and really not ready to be tied down with a dog at this time.

Cairn Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Cairn Terrier is a shaggy, spunky little dog with tons of energy and personality. The indefatigable Cairn is full of energy and is very lovable. Cairns love to dig, chase, and bark. Cairns are very active and need plenty of exercise but adapt well to apartment life. Cairns like to do tricks and are very trainable. Cairns are wonderful with children. A Cairn can be very territorial and should be watched for a tendency to take on much larger dogs if it feels threatened.
