    Reddish brown coat with black ears and black tail tip. Bane is a very good dog, patient and great with kids. He was found roaming the streets. We took him in because our friend could not. We have found our schedule is too full to give him the attention he needs.

    Christopher is a little 12 pound terrier mix who only had hours left at the shelter where he was. I don't know how he ended up in a shelter. He is SUPER sweet, crate trained, walks on a leash, comes when called and is just a wonderful sweet dog. His temp foster who saved him by offering to foster until transport could be set up cried when he left for rescue, he had even got to sleep on the bed and loves to snuggle. She was so frightened in her cage that she snapped at workers and a big E was stamped on her kennel card. Luckily, she was rescued right in the nick of time by Famous Fido's Rescue.     Murphy is an incredibly sweet, handsome, spry and snugly, 25-pound, 14-year-old, male Cairn Terrier looking for a loving guardian. PIease Read Before Adopting a Cairn in Illinois
    Cairn Dogs can make good pets in Illinois if they match your IifestyIe. The Cairn Terrier is a shaggy, spunky little dog with tons of energy and personality. The indefatigable Cairn is full of energy and is very lovable. Cairns love to dig, chase, and bark. Cairns are very active and need plenty of exercise but adapt well to apartment life. Cairns like to do tricks and are very trainable. Cairns are wonderful with children. A Cairn can be very territorial and should be watched for a tendency to take on much larger dogs if it feels threatened.
