MEET SPICE.... He was born the latter part of March, 2016, and is about 2.5 lbs. He is happy to be in a safe environment with food and vetting. He has survived living under a house with his mom for weeks. Thanks to kind folks who took action and got them to rescue . He will be available soon. Spice is a wire hair terrier just like his tiny little mom. MOM and another grown dog are also safe with rescue at this time. They are very loving and gentle and should be around 10-15 pounds when grown. This little guy will be too small and fragile for tiny hands so children will need to be over 5 in his fur ever home. To apply to adopt, go to brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.weebly.com and fill out an adoption application. (Less)

Jack is an approx. 9 year old terrier mix who has had an unfortunate life. He is fear aggressive, which will be addressed by a behavior specialist shortly. He does LOVE his foster mom and enjoys walks with her. She said he is such a good dog, he is very loyal. Remembering Ruthie Rescue is working to get to the root of his problem with an extensive behavior training specialist. Now he will need a foster to love him and work with him. We have faith in Jack and want to give him the chance for a good life. His current foster mom, who he adores him and he adores her likewise, is turning him in because she does not have the time to take with him as she travels a lot. so he has no place to go. He has been in her care since September so losing the best home he has ever known is going to devastate this little guy. We are in great need of getting him into a foster home Please consider him . He will be attending training classes so we are in dire need of foster who has time to step up and help him overcome. (Less)

Cairn Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Cairn Terrier is a shaggy, spunky little dog with tons of energy and personality. The indefatigable Cairn is full of energy and is very lovable. Cairns love to dig, chase, and bark. Cairns are very active and need plenty of exercise but adapt well to apartment life. Cairns like to do tricks and are very trainable. Cairns are wonderful with children. A Cairn can be very territorial and should be watched for a tendency to take on much larger dogs if it feels threatened.
