Rescue Me ID: 14-10-27-00393Heidi (female)

Cairn    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Heidi is an adorable Cairn Terrier with a wonderfully thick coat and healthy skin and eyes! She's somewhat shy until she gets to know you and I don't know how she'll be around children but she likes both men and women. She's learning to walk on a leash. She's young, the vet thinks about a year old. She's good with most dogs but didn't like this one puppy we had in rescue who was very submissive. She's crate-trained and almost house-trained. She's on a premium, grain-free diet of food called Taste of The Wild and is a healthy weight. Spayed, dewormed, groomed, vaccinated -- a perfect lil' Cairn!

Rescue Me ID: 14-10-23-00313Phoebe (female)

Cairn    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Very Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Phoebe and Ziggy were left in a residence when their owners moved out. While they started out frightened and confused, they quickly adjusted to their changes and are sweet, sociable, loving pets. They are quite attached to each other and would love to be adopted together, but we understand if a new family isn't prepared to open their hearts to 2 new dogs at once. They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and on heartworm preventive. Would you consider giving these precious pups a new, permanent, furever home? You will have their lasting love and loyalty if you do!

PIease Read Before Adopting a Cairn in Georgia
Cairn Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Cairn Terrier is a shaggy, spunky little dog with tons of energy and personality. The indefatigable Cairn is full of energy and is very lovable. Cairns love to dig, chase, and bark. Cairns are very active and need plenty of exercise but adapt well to apartment life. Cairns like to do tricks and are very trainable. Cairns are wonderful with children. A Cairn can be very territorial and should be watched for a tendency to take on much larger dogs if it feels threatened.
