this is a special needs little girl. She's cute as a button (whatever that expression means) and seems fine with other animals HOWEVER she does not trust humans, initially anyway. She's snappy when they reach for her and once she attaches herself to her human, she will prevent that human from being approached by other humans. this means she needs a single limited family- either single or with one other human in residence and who doesn't have other humans visiting or delivering stuff or whatever. She weighs 10 pounds and is totally vetted. Her adopt fee is $200

Danny is one of several hoarders dogs we were asked to take. He is 7 years old, such a sweet guy!. He has a funny gait, not neuro related and will be going to an orthopedic specialist. The neurologist exam was negative. He thinks fibrotic muscles in his rear legs. That does not stop Danny from playbowing, using steps, running, or going to the bathroom. He just has a funny walk, he doesnt fall, jumps on the bed and is a normal boy! He is walking fine on a leash as long as you take your time with him and dont hurry him along. He comes to his name. We are working on sit down and stay. He warms up to you slowly, and then all is fine. These dogs ... (Read More)have been way undersocialized and they need a kind patient loving person to help them on their way. they have responded nicely to their current foster. Danny has been vetted, he gets along fine with other dogs. Seeks out human companionship, sleeps with me on the bed, loves his belly rubs. Has a great appetite. He will do well with an older couple, in a quiet home, with plenty of love and attention. This little guy is cuteness supreme and a very snuggly loving boy!! A diet of bread has NOT harmed his attitude towards people. Please consider Danny if looking for a quiet low energy companion dog, he will be perfect for walking on leash. Fostered in Bradenton area. PIease Read Before Adopting a Cairn in Florida
Cairn Dogs can make good pets in Florida if they match your IifestyIe. The Cairn Terrier is a shaggy, spunky little dog with tons of energy and personality. The indefatigable Cairn is full of energy and is very lovable. Cairns love to dig, chase, and bark. Cairns are very active and need plenty of exercise but adapt well to apartment life. Cairns like to do tricks and are very trainable. Cairns are wonderful with children. A Cairn can be very territorial and should be watched for a tendency to take on much larger dogs if it feels threatened.
