Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed

Miss Liberty 'Libbe' is a very loving, energetic pet. She is 18 pounds has a lot of curly cairn fur and as you can see she is cut a little short in the picture. She is loyal, you can't lose her,and she will never get far away from you. It might be that when she was dropped on the road and abandoned, she chased the car until she could no longer run. That is when I found her. She needs a yard, an attentive pet parent and to be the apple of someone's eye. Not an afterthought for someone who is interested only in the warm and fuzzy feeling that Libbe can provide, but someone who is truly there for her. She is not an amusement, she is a ... Cairn Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Meet Z aka Zombie she's crate trained and adventurous, if you're looking for a hiking/running/camping buddy Z is your pup, she's completely bonded with the outdoors!! This approx 12 month old puppy is a survivor and is extremely high energy! She was found in the California City desert the first week of November. Z was in horrible condition and her outlook wasn't good, she had ringworm in between her eyes and on her nose, was in pain, her skin was falling off in chunks and she smelled like death. This puppy looked like an extra from The Walking Dead. Once her stray hold period was up at the California City Animal Shelter we took her in and ... (Read More)rushed her to our wonderful vet. Dr. Thurman's staff determined that this SWEET, amazingly loving puppy had been tortured. She was partially skinned, scalped and then doused in some kind of chemical that literally was eating away at her skin. Z had a terrible staph infection as a result of being dumped in the desert without medical care. After months of TLC Zombie is ready for her forever family. She has no lingering effects from the torture aside from some areas that are missing hair on the plus side sun burns are not likely since she is so fluffy elsewhere her bald patches are hidden. As a bonus we've actually done a DNA test on Zombie and it was determined that this gal is a Akita, Cairn terrier, Chow Chow, Toy Fox Terrier, Staffy mix! She will be approx 30- 38 lbs when she is done filling out, her current weight is 28lbs. Z gets along well with submissive, calm easy going dogs, and has interacted with dogs of all sizes, horses, cats and children. She takes correction well and has an EXCELLENT recall. More photos can be sent upon request. Z's ideal home would be one that is active, as she has energy to spare, serious inquires only. **Pets will not be shipped nor transported to adopter. Applications are accepted and reviewed on a first come first serve basis. Meet and Greets are scheduled when an application has been approved.
